The MSI factory is rolling out the PR211 Notebook, which comes with a 12.10 display that has a 1280×800 resolution, graphics card ATI Radeon HD 3200, AMD Turion X2 Dual Core 2M-80 processor and 2 GB RAM (with the option to upgrade upto 4GB).

This new creation also has an inbuilt optical drive, a wireless LAN adaptor, 1.3 megapixel webcam, 3 USB connectors and 3 in 1 card reader. This swanky new notebook uses the biometric fingerprint and crawler MSI Filesave to protect confidential information. This unique, revolutionary software works just as well even when the hard drive is detached from the laptop. The data that you store in the notebook is encrypted and cannot be accessed without a special password/code.

MSI has been busy working on the next generation of the MSI Wind PC, the U91 and U120. Here is an unofficial sneak peak at the U120, which reveals a 10inch LCD backlight, 160GB HDD, 2GB RAM, Single Touchbar Mouse and Sentilic Touchpad. In addition to all this, you may be in for quite a surprise as the models are expected to come with a new MSI Logo, Wind branded accessories, a new name (netbook and not notebook) and Windows Vista for OS. Although it may take a while for these models to hit the markets, they are expected to create quite a flutter amidst the consumers.

At just $35 a piece, you would soon be able to get some snazzy cool skins for your MSI Wind U100 netbooks. Easily removable and scratch resistant, Skinizi will be releasing this new range of colorful skins in various designs soon.

MSI’s 6-cell battery notebook is now available in the US market for $549. However, the stock is limited and it comes in a candy pink flavor.

MSI is on a roll, updating its notebooks with better and faster features. Besides having
changed the notebook’s touchpads from Synaptics to Septelic, MSI has also upgraded one of
the notebook’s hard drive. The U100 will soon have a 120GB hard drive, which will shipping
as standard. However, the 8.9 inch U90 will be shipped with its original 80GB HDD.

A new version of the MSI Wind U100 netbook is set to enter the markets with a 160GB HDD instead of the current 80GB HDD. Everything else about the new model remains the same, but with a bigger storage space.
