The closest competitor to MSI Wind PC both in size, features and price is the new Asus Eee 1000h. Below are the highlight of the similarities and differences:
Price: No difference. Asus dropped the price of the Eee 1000h to $550 for the 6-cell battery. The 6-cell MSI Wind is also priced at $550.
Form Factor: Wind PC Wins. The MSI Wind is thinner, lighter, and smaller. Eee 1000h get finger prints with its glossy black coat. White Eee version does not suffer from this problem.
Screen: Similar. Both laptops have great screens. No noticable difference in brightness.
Keyboard: Eee 1000h Wins. With both laptops having similar feel and keyboard size, 1000h offers more convenient location of the touchpad.
Wireless: Eee 1000h Wins. 1000h had better signal strength and offers N in addition to standard 802.11 B/G.
Battery life: Unknown. Eee 1000h can get 5.5 hours of live on 6-cell battery. Since we were not able to locate 6-cell battery for MSI Wind, the comparison will have to done at the later time.
